Who I Am
I love story telling and I think I got that from mother. For this reason I enjoy watching movies as I find the story within the story. My grandkids know me as a storyteller without even a book.
Once Upon My Time showcases my journey as a amatuer storyteller. With a passion for storytelling, I shed light on diverse narratives that shape our world.
I Love (My) Space (2024) is a discovery of my relationship with space technology and in more recent years my association with spirituality and understanding of the vast space in my minds. I wrote the short book with a sense of and accomplishment.
Space Tourists as a book for kids, came from inspiration from my granddaughter, Myla. One day she asked me if that was a chapter book, implying that could it be a kids story books. This idea helped me write Space Tourists.
I began thinking of writing story books with my grand kids Myla and Zander and Eesha and Zara as the characters. This lead me to the story books Lost and Found!, featuring Myla and Zander, followerd by Twin Detectives: Snap, Search and Solve!, featuring Eesha and Zara. These fictional story books are written from the point of view of siblings, as kids, face small challenges and discover the true power of teamwork and perseverance.
I hope, I'm blessed with more stories to share. Every story has its time! - Prem
I LOVE (MY) SPACE
The moon landing, 1969, was a turning point in my life, as it ignited my passion for engineering which lead my from India to the USA. In fqct my fascination for space traces back to early 60s when President Kennedy boldly declared to the world the USA would put Man on the Moon by the end of that decade. Overtime I became interested in space exploration and technology. Beyond the realms of technology, this fascination drove me into metaphysical aspects of the space within me, promoting contemplation about my place in the universe and the deeper, existential questions it raises.
I began thinking about this book during my retirement years in 2023 and eventually began to write it. Being my first book, albeit a short one, I found it hard at first. But then the story had to come our in the form of this anecdotal memoir. I have enjoyed wrting this book.
